1. What we collect

From players: a nickname, and the answers they give during a game. Nothing else. We do not ask players for an email address, a phone number or an account, and we do not attach a tracking identifier to them.

From hosts: an email address and a display name, so you can sign in and own a workspace. Whatever you put into your quizzes, of course, and the reports your games produce.

From everyone visiting this site: cookieless, aggregate analytics — page views and referrers, with no cross-site profile and no cookie banner.

2. Why we collect it

To run the game you started, show a leaderboard, and give you a report afterwards. To bill you, if you are on a paid plan. To keep the service up and find out what broke when something does.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising.

3. How long we keep it

Live room state is held only while the game runs and is erased automatically within hours of it ending.

Game reports — including the nicknames as they were typed — are kept for 90 days on the Free plan, and for as long as you keep them on paid plans.

Deleted quizzes are recoverable for 30 days, then permanently purged.

Your account details are kept until you delete your account.

4. Who else sees it

Our hosting provider, in Germany, which runs the servers. Our merchant of record, which handles payments and tax — card details go to them and never reach us. Error and uptime monitoring, which sees technical logs.

That is the full list of processors. We will update this page before adding to it.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR and KVKK alike you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Account deletion is self-service in account settings and cascades through your workspaces, quizzes and reports.

Players who want a nickname removed from a report should ask the organizer who ran the game, or contact us directly.

6. Where it lives

Servers and backups are in the European Union (Germany). In normal operation your data does not leave the EU.
