1. The agreement
Using KaBooom means accepting these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you are confirming you may do so.
2. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the content you put into it. Keep your sign-in details to yourself.
Players do not have accounts. Hosts are responsible for the rooms they run.
3. Your content
Your quizzes are yours. You grant us only what we need to run the service — storing them, showing them on the screens in your game, and generating your reports.
Don’t upload anything unlawful, or anything you don’t have the right to use. We can remove content that breaks this and, if it keeps happening, close the account.
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance through a merchant of record, who is the seller of record for your purchase. Annual billing is charged for twelve months at the price of ten.
Player caps are enforced when players join a room, never by ending a game that is already running.
The Community plan requires verification and is intended for open communities, student clubs and nonprofits. We may ask you to re-verify, and may move a workspace to a paid plan if it no longer qualifies — with notice, and never in the middle of an event.
5. Availability
We work hard to keep games running and publish a public status page, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance and kept away from evenings, when events happen.
6. Liability
KaBooom is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
7. Changes and ending things
You can stop using KaBooom and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.
If we change these terms materially, we will say so on this page and date it before the change takes effect.
